Use of Sentinel
Sentinel is a vehicle collection, delivery, appraisal and inspection evidence tool for motor trade use. It lets authorised users create jobs, invite drivers or inspectors, capture photos and condition evidence, collect signatures and create reports.
Accounts and invited users
Users must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure and only access jobs they are authorised to handle. Dealers are responsible for selecting who they invite and for removing access when it is no longer needed.
Invited users may receive Sentinel-only access. Sentinel-only access does not grant access to unrelated DealDesk product areas.
Dealer and customer responsibility
The dealer, customer or business using Sentinel is responsible for the job data it uploads or instructs users to capture, including vehicle details, addresses, contacts, photos, notes, signatures and reports. Users must ensure they have the authority and lawful basis to collect and share that data.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sentinel to upload unlawful, misleading, offensive, malicious or irrelevant material. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, probe the service, scrape data, interfere with other users, or share invite or report links with unauthorised recipients.
Reports and evidence
Sentinel reports are operational evidence records based on information captured by users. They are not warranties, valuations, engineering reports, mechanical inspections, insurance reports or legal advice. Dealers remain responsible for reviewing reports and deciding how they are used.
Availability and support
We aim to keep Sentinel available and reliable, but availability may be affected by maintenance, updates, hosting issues, internet connectivity, user devices or events outside our control. Support is available at support@dealdesksentinel.co.uk.
Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or removed where needed to protect Sentinel, investigate misuse, comply with law, enforce these terms or follow a dealer/customer instruction.
Liability
Sentinel is provided as an operational software tool. To the fullest extent permitted by law, JK66 Car Sales Ltd is not responsible for business decisions, vehicle condition conclusions, report recipient decisions or losses caused by inaccurate data entered by users. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction unless mandatory law says otherwise.
